Can anyone tell me what the external genital exam entails. Don't get me wrong I've had 2 children and have no problems with modesty etc. However, I do think USCIS could've given a bit more detail. I know I'll have to go through a full breast exam (know what to expect there...lol) but the genital exam is a bit of a mystery. I'm not complaing about it but it's nice to know what to expect...so if anyone can help ease my nerves I'd be grateful. :)

You get a breast exam if you are over 35. The genital exam is, quite simply, the doc briefly looking at your bits (top only, no splayed legs or anything!). Takes about 2 seconds.

I think they mostly just want to make sure you're really a girl.

mine involved a quick peek in your knickers, like said before, just to check theres no appendage,
though I did get my boobs fondled and Im 30, so not sure about that one.

was tempted to comment...
'is that all I get for £160?, I should have gone to Kings Cross...'

but I bit my tongue.
dont worry really, honestly theres not a stirrup in sight.
The quick peek was the same for my daughter (7), which I was anxious about beforehand, but again, no need to worry

good luck x

My doc clearly told me that the breast exam was for 35 year olds and over. This is due to the low chance of breast cancer when you are of a younger age. I can't think WHY you were given one.

The same goes for your daughter's "quick peek". My son didn't have to show the doctor anything and he is 13 (12 then).

LMAO devil.gif I would of found it very hard to bite my tongue

Getting back to subject, when I had my exam for K1 in November 2005 I had to spread my legs and he looked, I did not worry about it all because they are all doctors, and after 3 kids you do not worry anymore.
