In the end VJ timelines, even for the same consulate don't matter one bit. I have looked at timelines for Casa where people waited 5 months, and others who got theirs the next day. No rhyme or reason. I thought maybe when the petition was originally filed had something to do with it (i.e. maybe they started background checks sooner) but then I saw Sonicliz submitted about the same time as I did, interviewed the week after and got her SO here in a week after that. And yet here I sit. SO, it's best not to compare your case to anyone anywhere.

Yeah get sprint. then you can talk to me free anytime of the day or night!! I got sprint because it's the only one that works well out here in the country.

Verizon is evil. We were always going over our minutes and finally I just upped to a ridiculous 1100 minutes a month to avoid the overages... but we're paying a pretty penny for it I do think the reception is very good though.

Well, I don't use my cell to talk to my fiance. We do all our talking with mic on the computer. It's free!!!

I tried not to use my cell and tried all kinds of different calling cards . . . but eventually I found that when I am not at home, on the road traveling, or at the office . . the cell was the best way to go with a direct call. It is expensive but the frustration level was a bit less than having to call thru another number and not be able to get thru on that number, etc. So I try to keep those calls short and call from my home phone when I am there.

I wish that using the mic on the computer worked better for me . . . but it doesn't seem as good of an option as it did 2 years ago, hehe!!

I use cards or IDT service from any phone... rates are the same - but now I don't use it as much cuz we only call to talk to the family once or twice a week! It's not the daily calls from before!

For me... With my tax return I got the car fixed, got insurance, paid some of my bills.
I started a job two weeks ago and I am loving it!!! My first check is March 2nd!
I am no longer sick, but am on antibiotics as a precaution yet for another week!
I am planning my trip in June to see my DH (doing happy dance!)


How did things turn out for every one else?

yes, it has been awhile since I posted. Well, here is our moans and groan..........


1. The pc is broke.....My mom let us borrow her lap top at least.
2. still no EAD.....We filed in Dec. and he had his fingerprints taken Jan 10th.
3. Othman can't get the social security card without the EAD.
4. cannot file income taxes yet cuz he needs his social security card so we can file together......more $$$$$$
5. Also, of course, he can not work without ssn.

Did he get the EAD and SS#?? If not, RE: filing for taxes without a social security card. You can file a W-7 to get an ITIN . . . that form can be submitted with the tax form.

I hate this visa process! Its not ike ive been apart from him that long eithert. Got bk from seein him yesterday and am seeing him in just over 4 weeks, so can any2 tel me why this is so damn hard

Oh for some reason I thought the G325A was one page..and that is what I sent. One page for each of us. I can clearly read in the guides that it is 4 pages...but nooooooooooo I have to send in one.

He just today sent DHL the 4 copies for the K3....now I have to tell him to do that again (just one more time habibi) so I will have it here when the RFE comes.

I am so lame.

Hm....I dont have a printer here to verify. But it seems to me if I remember correctly taht G325 states 4 pages, and yes several pages did print out. BUT if I remember correctly, it was only ONE page for the g325 form and the rest of the pages (prolly what was counted in the 4 they specified) were directions on how to fill out the form. Whatever I was able to write on, I sent in. And I don't think it was 4. I will have to check on it. hopefully you will be ok!! But yep yep get it dhl'd to you just in case:(

Jackie...I did the SAME thing...thank god we had no issues. It was only the first page that had our information on it and I left the others out! So I will keep you guys in my prayers that its a NON issue!

My GRIPES!

WORK!!!!! People are petty and ego-driven. One supervisor changes says you have two weeks to do this project and then wants it two days later. His rationale for changing the deadline, "Well, you should just know that my projects are just as high priorty as everyone elses."

The principal has me scrubbing the walls for scuff marks that won't come off.

Another supervisor barks at me first thing in the morning....

I am sick of the treatment I am getting!
