I know between Pjc & me, we've probably had a couple of these posts, but it is really starting to get rediculously frustrating with the London embassy... I double checked other London Embassy people on VJ and it seems most of teh people that have sent their P3's back in Dec & beg of Jan have received their P4's, However, we haven't received ours even though we sent ours back in full by Dec. 4.

Pjc emailed and called them and all they say is our case is marked "elligible for interview" but we still have not received a date. January people are already starting to get their dates which is even more frustrating for us. We filled everything out correctly and sent it back correctly but still nothing.

Are their any other December or before people waiting as well or is it just us? (London only please)

Did you put down a travel date and wedding date on the checklist?

If you didn't, that could be the reason you haven't heard anything.

My Fiance put ASAP. Apparently another couple put this too and they have their Interview date...

A concrete date would have been better. London actually tries to accomodate those dates.

If there's another "ASAP"er out there with a date ahead of you, they probably just got lucky.

:-S that's what the Embassy lady said...that they were "fortunate"....I guess we just got stuck with all the people around us on VJ who got their dates right away, and we are just the unlucky ones that got screwed by the embassy... I just wish I knew when exactly we were made "elligible" so we know when we may get our date. Its hard to relax when everyone else around us is getting their dates in a month or less and we have already waited more than a month with absolutely squat...

Yeah we're with you. WE sent our packet from the US registered mail and the post office tells me it left the US on Dec 17th. I wish I would have sent it return reciept so we would know if the embassy actually got it. We were lucky enough to spend Nov1st thru Jan 12th together here in California, but Gary went back fo his medical and now has no house or job and is waiting for the bloody interview! We have to consider Xmas too as the holidays would put them behind in processing. We put Feb14th down for a wedding date.
