Hi. Life has been crazy and I haven't been able to log on here for a while - hope everybody is well and your VJ's are moving along smoothly.

All of our papers are in at NVC, and we are awaiting completion and transfer to the embassy in London. I am the USC, and have been the Agent for the NVC process. When the case moves on to the embassy, will I still be the one to receive the packets/mailings, or will London mail the packets directly to my UK husband? Of course logically it would make much more sense for the mailings to start going to him, but well, I know this system isn't always logical!

From my understanding once the case is complete at the NVC and sent to the local embassy, all corrospondence are sent to the beneficiary..

P.S. I just sent my DS230 info to the NVC today.. looks like i'm about 2 weeks behind you.. though mine will be going to India

Does anyone of you know after sending a proof of USC to Indian Embassay approximetly after how many days or months our Beneficiary should recieve the PACKET..?????

The agent of choice recieves ALL correspondance from the NVC. Some embassy mat send additional papers to the benificiary.

I saw on your timeline that your wife's CR1 interview will be on 02-08-07. Do we need to prepare again all the documents we send to NVC to bring with us for the interview? Or the beneficiary receives it on the interview package?

Hi,

The benificiary should get back any originals at the time of the interview. However, you should bring original copies of EVERYTHING to the interview as they may ask to see them.

hello jazzy.. i have a question for you. I received the checklist response today and there is no forms included there only the barcode sheet. Does it mean that i will have to wait for the form (ds-230) from NVC or packet before i can send those papers and documents to them. I have already downloaded the form and i have completed my documents. Is it possible to send in all my papers even if without the packet yet?. i will be waiting for your reply..

Are you doing the K-3 or the cr-1? What checklist are you referring to? If you are doing the CR-1 have you already selected a choice of agent? or gone as far as paying for the IV bill? I need to know your info first...it would be helpful if you included these steps in your signature so others can hep you better....just pm me or post back...
