Just as an introduction, my name is Antonio and am from Venezuela.
I have an AOS applicacion pending and plan to travel abroad for two reasons:
1. Business; because the company I work for needs that I go to the DR to train some personnel and whatnot.
2. Personal; I want to go to Canada to visit my girlfriend.
Last October I filled a form I-131 and got the AP yesterday.
I received three identical pages I-512L, the "Approved" box is checked, the "Conditions/comments" is not checked. At the bottom, on one side is my pic, on the other side is a blank box, which I assume will be used to stamp it or something.
I also assume that I got three copies because I applied for multiple entries when filling the app.
My questions are:
Under the Conditions/Comments box, there are some notes that I think may or may not apply to everyone.
The one that caught my attention says something like: "The bearer of this AP traveled abroad because of humanitarian reasons" which is wrong... I know that as per the filling instructions of form I131 ppl may apply for AP for many reasons including humanitarian, business, etc. thats why I included a letter from the president of the company explaining the purpose of my trip, in this case for business, not for humanitarian reasons.
So, is it a general note? or it applies to me?
Could I have any problems when I get back if I say that it was a business trip and the AP says "humanitarian reasons"?
Regarding the other trip, I have basically the same question, is it possible to have any problems if I travel to visit my girlfriend? Or the AP can be used no matter what the reason of the trip is?
