Ok my man got a great job with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia(through a family friend), he likes the job the problem-his EAD will expire in 30 days.

I know this is a HUGE longshot but.....................would there maybe be a way that we could ask for his EAD tyo be expidited? I know people are going to laugh at me-but this is a really good opportunity for him & I hate to see him lose this job. The Church said they are willing to write letters on his behalf-what do you guys think?

My man had a great job too! There's nothing fair or reasonable about this process. Hope that your EAD comes through quickly, some do.

I didn't think there was anything we could do but I had to ask.

Is there anyway to apply for I-1765 in person-or does everything have to be submitted together(AOS &, AP & EAD)?

irishgirl,

His EA should expire 3 Feb if I can count right (or close to it if I cannot).

No way to expedite. Get his I-485 and I-765 submitted - by mail to the NBC's Chicago lockbox - ASAP and prepare for a 3-month layoff unless the Church is willing to bet that ICE will not audit it's employee employment authorization records.
