I am awaiting my work permit (following K-1 entry, marriage etc.), I have a SS card (with NOT PERMITTED TO WORK). My question is whether I can "legally" look for work, apply for jobs, go to interviews, accept jobs etc. before receiving my EAD (I am aware that I cannot work until I receive the documentation.

Any help much appreciated.

You cannot work... You can however, do everything else up to that stage to secure employment.
