I haven't met any in person, but I have spoken to a couple of ppl on here. And I have every intention of meeting in person.

A VJ meetup of selective ppl? I'd be down with that. A whole boatload? I'd prolly go for the entertainment factor

Yes, I've met 2 in person, one being in Egypt and have spoke to others via emails and on the phone. No regrets. Everyone I've met or have talked to is great!

I have met 3 VJ'ers in person, Kelly, Dawn and Andrea. I talk with Amal on the phone once in awhile. They are all as wonderful in person as they are here.

I have meet a few VJers in person here in the USA and talked to a few more on the phone. Hopefully will attend 2 VJers weddings this Summer.

There was a Texas guy that sent me a PM about confusion he and his Belarusian fiancee had about obtaining the correct apostles on some documents she would need for her interview in Warsaw. I asked my wife to send her an e-mail to answer any questions. They traded quite a lot of e-mails until she arrived here. It so happened that they lived in San Antonio and we visited them once while on a trip to San Antonio. They have since moved to Chicago, but my wife still trades e-mails with her and keeps in touch.

There was another Texas guy that sent me a PM and later e-mails to ask some questions about Belarus and K-1/K-2 stuff. He was in the process of getting a K-1/K-2 for his Belarusian fiancee and sent me photos of his trips to Minsk to see her. We corresponded for quite a while and had plans to get together when his fiancee finally arrived. Out of the blue both of his e-mail addresses sent back "delivery failures" when I wrote back to him and I never heard from him again. My guess is that they broke up and he wanted to forget about it. Very strange.

I have only met one member accidentally in a mall in Tampa, over 2 years ago. Kind of funny. She recognized Sujeet and I walking around and approached us saying, "you might think I'm weird for asking, but are you a member of VJ?"

Besides that, I have only talked to two couples on the phone. In fact, VipulandJamie were nice enough to call me on my birthday a couple months ago, which was also the anniversary of their visa interview.

Sujeet met 2 people while he was still in India (Vipul was one of them).

I still keep in touch via emails and blogs with other members who are not active here anymore but were active when I was a newbie.

I would like to meet some Vjers definitely, but am shy when it comes to thinking of a big group get together. There would be many factors involved in whether I wanted to attend a gathering or not. I think I'll definitely meet the 2 couples I mentioned above one day, not sure if I'll get a chance to meet anyone else. We'll see!!

Yes, I would attend a fellow VJer's wedding if I knew them pretty well and they weren't too far away. I would have invited a couple people from VJ to our wedding too had they lived closer and been able to attend.

I have developed online relationships with a few VJers off VJ but no meet-ups yet. This is the only forum I've ever participated in, so maybe I'm a bit wary, but so far so good. I think it would be awesome if VJ had a yearly meetup somewhere nice and warm.

Maybe that's just because I'm freezing my arse off up in MN today...

We ran into a fellow VJer at the consulate in Casa. Was cool, and are still in contact.

I would attend a VJ country wide meeting- as long as it was held in Orange County, California.

Yes, we've met up with another VJ couple. It was lovely and we plan to do it again.

I've spoken with several on the phone, and some regularly.

I would LOVE to go the a meetup. The more the merrier!

yes, I have met a VJ'er and spoke on the phone to a couple as well. I doubt I would be up for a big meetup as im pretty shy and would doubt moreso I would attend a wedding.

Would you believe that I actually went on a date with one of the VJers a long long time ago? I was pretty shocked to see him on this board (doing K1 for his foreign fiancée).
I never reveal my name, nor do I post pictures of myself here, because I don't want him to know that I am here.

Yes, I met two VJ members at my K-2 daughter's medical exam in Vancouver, Canada.

I met another VJ member in the US who lives right near where I live. We had coffee at Starbucks and email occasionally.

I would go to a VJ gathering if it wasn't too far away.

I would go to a VJ members wedding if we became friends and we were invited.

There are some ppl I WILL be meeing in person some day. They are awesome ppl and it would just be great to hang out.

Yep - met two VJers and spent the day together with them celebrating Canada Day at Zoo Atlanta organized by the Canadian Consulate in Atlanta last summer - lots of fun and looking forward to getting together with them again. Also, discovered that I know the mother of a VJer - we used to work together in the town where I lived in Ontario. I had already moved to the US by the time the VJer (her daughter) began her visa journey and we discovered our connection through VJ. It sure can be a small world! I would love to meet other VJers and hope we will manage a get together here in the Atlanta area sometime this coming year.

I spoke to one VJer on the phone, but we met through the website and hadn't known each other previously. If there was a VJ meet-up, and it wasn't too far away, I would attend it, I think. And if someone I met on VJ asked me to attend their wedding, I def. would, provided I didn't have other obligations that day.

I have a childhood friend from Montrose Colo that used to come here but he broke off his relationship with the filipina he was seeing so hasn't been here for a while.

I have met a few JVers in real life. There are several others I would LOVE to meet in person though.

I was the one that chose other, I have a VJer on my Live Journal friends list and I maintain a community called k3_couples on Live Journal as well. Kind of dead there so if any of you have a Live Journal account and would like to help people who don't yet know about Visa Journey, please by all means join our little group!

We attended a fellow VJr's wedding last weekend. Actually, my wife translated Portuguese for the judge and bride as she speaks very little English. It was great to meet them and we were honored to participate in their wedding.
