Hey, masterpiece - thanks for asking. I'm looking forward to finding an answer to this as well. I suspect admin will move this to technical questions thread, but it will be good to learn that little "trick" anyway!
I find myself chopping my sig all the time to make it fit! Given that I am usually long winded - it's hard to make it work. :-)

They are preset to ?? amount of characters which includes html in the count of characters.
You could always add details to "our story" found in your profile and leave the signature for NOAs, approvals, etc.

You may see some very long signatures, those have not been edited since the character limit was implemented some time ago.

i highly doubt Ewok will give you the 411 on making a siggy longer, lol

First option: Remove all color and formatting. Colors add characters, as do special formatting.
Second option: Cut down on unnecessary things, or post additional information onto a webpage and link it.
Third option: Do something like I have. I used a graphics program (Paint Shop Pro) to create a single image with all the information from my timeline/signature in it, uploaded it, and then just linked in that one image. Then, when I want to update, I change the image file, reupload it with the same name, and it updates on here as well.

As said above removing some formatting will help add more space smile.gif.
