It will take 7 months, but don't worry, you will get a letter extending your green card in a week or so after you send in the materials that is good for a year, so you are good to go! James

I filed my I-751 in TSC on June 28, 2006 and haven't received approval yet. I haven't followed-up as the processing time posted on the USCIS website is June 15, 2006 as of Dec.18, 2006. It's been almost 7 mos and no approval yet

I filed at Texas Service Centre at the end of July 2006, Letter of extension received within a couple of weeks after, and biometrics appointment end of August. Nothing else yet - I'm assuming it'll be at least another month before I hear further.

congratulations! Good to know that TSC is actually processing our cases

. I just wish it doesnt take them so long. The wait time is just ridiculous. Nonetheless, ur one step closer to being a citizen. Guess that's the ultimate end to all this immigration process we all have to go through.

Radio silence since then.
Fingers crossed for something by the end of February.

I must have said the magic words last night with my last post, as there was a case status email waiting for us this morning saying that that my husband's new card had been ordered and he should receive it within 30 days!
Next stop on the Immigration Train: N-400
Annatenna, yours should be any day now!!

Wherever the ASC for your county of residence is. If you haven't moved, probably the same place you did them for AOS.

My husband and I did not have to go thru the AOS phase because we filed DCF in his country and got approved there. I did click on the link you provided and found out that there are 2 ASC's that service my state, one in Birmingham, AL and the other one is in Metairie, LA. But I don't know which one we would be sent to. Anyways thanks for the info and help.

Did you use the ZIP code thing, where you put in your ZIP code? Usually each center only services certain parts of the state. For example, in New Mexico, the northern counties go to the Albuquerque ASC and the southern counties go to the El Paso, TX, ASC.
