Ok right, last game of the season for Sund is on the 6th. First of all, we've already been promoted but for a few days a week or so ago, we were top of the league!!!! Pretty frickin impressive considering how we started the season!

D put a silly bet on at the start of the season with like 20-1 odds that we'd finish top. Now that it's within reach, my stomach is in KNOTS that it MIGHT come off! Don't get me wrong, I'd love to finish top even without the bet, but hell....this bet would bring in a silly amt of money for some long shot.

We're second, one point trailing Birmingham. Pls cross yer fingers and toes that we win and they lose this next match! (unless you're a Brummie, lol)

Oh, and the last game is being played on D's bday, so wouldn't that be a great day for him! He's traveling down for the game & he couldn't give a sh!t about the bet...it would be so wonderful for him to see the close of his last season in England with his team on top!

I have a footy related rant, so I'm putting it here

We're having our UK wedding reception (year after the event) on 19th May and it's bloody cup final day!

So now we have to have a TV in the hall that's been rented, as the party kicks off at 4pm.

On the plus side, Dave will get to see a game all the way through and witness first hand true supporters. And of course, he'll get to see Chelsea win

Ah well its not to be an all England final, AC Milan do it again, Hope Liverpool can pull it off this time.

Note to all women planning a wedding in may or june of any year. Avoid the 3rd Saturday of May(FA Cup final) and avoid the last two wednesday's of May (Champions League final - usually around the 21st-27th). Also if it is an even year just avoid June fullstop (World Cup or European Championships).

Well having watched the whole game it was a very boring first half, Man U had the better of the second half. Sat there thinking oh well here we go again for penalties when Drogma came in with an excellent goal in extra time. Now the season is over Man U have the title and Chelsea have both domestic cups.

Yeah, total total bummer to be sure....but all I can say is, they certainly didn't run over us...took 'em 'til the 2nd half of extra time to do it, and then Morinho looked *ticked* 'cause they awarded 3 minutes of injury time. Yes, it may have been a bit much (extra time), but I think he was worried a bit too.
