Good morning! Looks like I'm gonna get hit with a big ice storm starting this afternoon ending sometime Sunday. I'm going to go out and get a few necessities here in few hours. But for now I'm going back to bed.

YEAAA Youssef comes home tonight! This was only the 3rd time we have been away from each other since he moved here and my first time with both of the kids alone. He has to go to work at 4am again tomorrow morning but I just want him home so I can give him a big hug and kiss. I don't know what I'm going to do when he goes back to Morocco...long 3 weeks. Oh well gotta get the boys loaded up in the car to take Mikhail to school then I think Khalil and I will take a nap. Fun stuff. Have a great day everyone.

I know it's Friday but this is gonna be a long azz day. I feel like crap again and everyone is telling me that I look like crap too. Niiiice. I"m supposed to go to a going away luncheon at noon and then over to a friend's house for Chinese food tonight and all I wanna do is go back to bed and sleep.

Oh, don't you hate that?!?! People will say, "you look really tired." Which basically means, "you look like a$$." Gee, thanks.

Providing I haven't once again become the "bain of VJ" I'd like to say good morning. Mohammed rode to work with me this morning and he's currently wandering around downtown enjoying every little thing. It's unusually warm here, but after seeing Amy's post about the ice storm, I'm sure our weather is about to change abruptly. Everyone ready for the weekend?

Maybe you guys are getting MY former storm. We had 6' of snow, which snarled up traffic for 2 days now. The first day caught people in the afternoon commute. Would have caught me to had it not been for a nice boss with 4WD on his car, and the ability to not be crazy with it! (you know men and 4WD!! can we say land on your roof top??)

I have thought about taking my fiance with me to work as well one day. I only work in 3 hour stints, with a 2 hour lunch in between. My patients want to meet him.

I brought Said to my dance class Monday to meet my students... they loved it! My office work would be a little difficult, he'd get way too bored while I'm working on clients!

Broncos fan here but have to pull for the AFC west! Go Bolts! This could be their year

Warm and rainy here . . . supposed to be freezing rain tonight (or something like that . . . sounds like a good night to make chili). . . and I hope it waits that long since I have an appt for my hair later today. At least I didn't get snowed in on my trip to OHIO.

Put off the car shopping until I get my payout from the insurance company . . . the dealership certainly is willing and eager to find me another Saab to replace the one that is sitting totalled in Oklahoma City somewhere.

I still hurt a bit and dragging around a laptop and suitcase thru the airport, etc didn't help it much . . . the right side/arm is aching. TG, they told me I didn't have to go back from more meetings next week . . . and I hope it stays that way for awhile . . . at least till I've recovered a bit more. Ya know, when it's work and you are alive . . . ya gotta go when they ask. Even if you are sick in a hotel room, you can still work. . . . that's why they have internet access in so many hotels now . . . all those business travelers having to be available 24-7 . . . Not just the techie's anymore. And I can't believe some of the gadgets and toys that ppl travel with . . . i can barely manage the laptop.

Oh, did I mention that I got upgrades to first class on both of my flights??? Platinum status is NICE! but I can never get those upgrades on the longer flights . . . only Columbus, Ohio,

Where are you going for lunch Sarah? Do you guys have a favorite type of food?

I'm not sure yet! I told Hicham to think of a place. We like Mexican food, Chinese food, Italian food... the list goes on.

Oh my, that reminds me we had lunch at a Thai place yesterday (they advertise as being halal!!) and I really have only had Thai food once or twice before. The girls I was with ordered some dessert that I nearly died over. I couldn't stop thinking about it for the rest of the afternoon. It was like... mango with sticky rice or something. Has anyone here tried it? It was sooooooo yummy and I have no idea how they make that rice but I could eat that every single darned day!!

That sounds good! I am not a huge fan of Thai food, it's usually too spicy for me.

My family used to make fun of me when I was little because I was a bit overly sensitive about spicy foods. We would always go get cinnamon rolls and I would be downing my milk after every bite because the cinnamon is just so spicy! ahaha. Now everytime we have something spicy, someone has to say "almost as spicy as cinnamon."

I don't like spicy myself. I just got vegetables and no spice! Even regular black table pepper is usually too much for me, though I've been acclimating to it a bit recently.

I'm bored and tired. One hour and three minutes to go. Tried to call Usama three times today and no answer so that means he's sleeping. Never known anyone to sleep as much as he sleeps.

How do you say, "why do you sleep so much you lazy bum" in Arabic? hahahaha

It's the national pasttime...jk. Moh sleeps a LOT too. I also slept an awful lot while I was there. Must be something in the air.

I'm so proud of myself! I got all of the laundry done, re-arranged the bedroom, and put away a bunch of clothes that we never wear. Youssef should be home in about 3 hrs and I've got a nice dinner already in the works. I'm starting not to like this housewife thing though! I'm ready to go back to work. I'm going to attach a pic in here of Youssef and Mikhail 'cus I think it's too cute!
