Hello
Is having a past suspended liscence (for driving wihtout proof of insurance) and having to go to court and pleading guilty. Guilty I had no proof in the car with me, but I did have insurance... is this considered a crime and cause for N-400 denial?

I did not list it on my app, as it said not to list traffic issues... but then later I saw this is considered a mismeanor? I am not clear on this helpsmilie.gif

Driving without insurance is still a minor traffic violation. Most judges will let you off if you can prove you have insurance on the car. But that is another point. I wouldn't worry about the non-disclosure of the driving without insurance.

Thanks very much for the reply. I did not think it mattered either, when I applied...but as I was going throu my records the other day, my eyes zoned in on words like "misdemenaor" and "charged" and I started to freak out. This happened a while back, so I completely forgot about... so did not even think to include it on my n400 app. But thanks... I sure know I am sighing relief now... laughing.gif

I disagree. You should have declared it. You should ahve the opportunity of amending your application at the interview, take all your documentation.

O really? Ok... I will then.
