I am asking this question on my cousin's behalf cause I know the great feedback from this site. What happens when someone misses their appointment for their naturalization/citizenship test? My cousin had his appointment scheduled for Dec. 22nd and he did not attend. What happened is he switched his address and the appointment letter arrived at his old address. Well, he received the appointment letter YESTERDAY. However, he had notified of the address change, but I guess they never entered it (or something else went wrong). What can he do now? Does anyone have any suggestions. I already got mad at him and told him he may have to wait for another appoinment (but I think I just made him feel worse). Does anyone have any suggestions/advice?

USCIS seems to have a really difficult time changing addresses for some reason - it's really frustrating.

If I was your cousin I would schedule an Infopass appointment ASAP so they don't consider his application abandoned.
