First of all - YAY! I just got emails stating that the production of my EAD card has been ordered and that my AP was approved. I can't believe that the USCIS computer system actually works

They sent each email three times, though. It makes it a bit more believeable
Anyway... does anyone know what the average time between approval and getting the actual documents is? I live in California.
Thanks!
Bartek
I can't answer that question but I can congratulate you. Hope they arrive soon, and don't forget to update your timeline.

I just received my AP today

They mailed it four days after approval. Funny, they sent me TWO identical documents, both valid for multiple entries...

That's interesting. The way our email read we were approved on the 6th and it was sent on the 6th but we didn't get that actual email until the 10th. My guess is that it wasn't really sent until the tenth and we'll get it today or tomorrow based on your results.

Let's see.. when we went to our infopass appointment, we were told it was approved in the system on Jan 3rd. On the 8th, our online status was finally changed to "production ordered." Changed again on the 11th to approval mail sent. And today, on the 13th, we finally got it, albeit with a typo...
