i finally got my new DL (after only 1 speeding ticket too). i passed the written with a 100% and an 92% and the driving portion involved driving around the block while the lady chatted about her plans for when she retires next month. i did 'roll through' one stop sign, but she said that's a habit one acquires when one has been driving for 20+ years. we even swapped crabby SSN office lady stories (turns out it was the same one!) laughing.gif

she issued it until 2010 instead of the 2008 that my GC expires and i still have my Ontario license, but hey, who am i to correct a lifelong ready to retire DMV lady?!

now i just have to find a job and i'll be all set. wacko.gif
