1) Did any of you send photographs of vacations etc, and if so, did you write what they were of on the back?

2) As for the letter from friends stating their knowledge of you marraige: Did they have to include their social security #? I have plenty of people that will write a letter for me, but may balk at having to put their SS#...

3) How many months worth of bank statements and bills did you send? Is 3 months ok?

4) We've only filed taxes for one year, is that fine? I guess it will have to be though :-)

5) We've received letters/cards from friends addressed to both of us, will it be fine to send just a copy of the envelopes with both of our names?

Any additional info would be appreciated! Thanks!

1. We did not submit any photographs at all.

2. We did not send any letters from friends (we had enough financial, etc. information to send).

3. We sent 1 bank statement (the most current one) which combined both our checking and savings accounts.

4. All you can do is send whatever tax information you have (we only sent 1).

5. Photocopies would be fine.

For your info, here's a list of what we sent with our I-751 application:

1. Copy of Deed for our home (with both our names on it).
2. Copy of the mortgage interest statement for last year.
3. Copy of 2005 joint tax return.
4. Vehicle insurance documents for both our vehicles.
5. Vehicle certificates of ownership for both our vehicles.
6. Copies of our joint credit cards.
7. Copy of our health insurance cards showing me as a dependant.
8. Copy of my husband's "benefits" showing me as a dependant and as the beneficiary of his life insurance.

I have received no RFE's so far, have had my Biometrics done, and am just waiting for approval.

I agree with raymaga. I would add the following:

2. We did include affadavits from friends, but they did not include social security numbers. Not sure why people would be afraid to send their SSN to a government agency.

3. We sent 1 of each bank statement and various utility bills, just the most recent. I think those that send one per quarter or all bills are just overkill. As long as both names are on it.

We were recently approved without interview.

Thanks for the info...we have been living with my parents for the last 2 years so we don't really have any bills other than credit card bills in both of our names so I am worried about not having enough information.
