anyway it's passed 2 months now after my interview NOV 7 2006
the consular tell me that i have to wait for 2 months ,it's just have fellings if this it's true or we still have to wait couples of..................
my love is really sick she can't focus at everythings in her life just wait for me to be there ,i'm really worried sometimes about her but you know waitings is killing us so bad
i know that a lot feel the same thing like us but what i dont understand why they take all this time for those checking specialy whene u know and u sure that it's all clear

i wish good luck for all and i'm sorry it's just feeling hopeless that's why i write this

I am so sorry for your wait for the visa. I do not think there are any words to really reassure you or comfort you when you are stuck waiting in this part of the process. All I can say is they will eventually get through the checks. Keep calling the DOS to see if the checks are still pending. Stay strong in your faith that it is only a matter of time. Wishin you the best. Hope you hear something very soon.

Gosh if you are still waiting since the 7th, I'll never get done. We were the 16th. Oh well, I guess we hang out in DOS hell together.

I have been told it takes 2-6 weeks (already passed), 30-60 days (almost passed) and 3-4 months (not even close) on various calls I have made. I was calling a few times a day. Now I call once a week. the calls literally raise my blood pressure, so I try to avoid them.

For many of us who filed at the same time- it took exactly 10 weeks from NOA1 to NOA2. That would put you at NOA2 on Jan 30. For you I hope the holidays do not extend that by too much. I know for me the last 2 weeks before NOA2 were the hardest to wait. The good news is that once the NOA2 comes you go from a slow turtle to a speedy rabbit. Probably 6 weeks from NOA2 to interview date.

Hang in there it's coming and all this waiting and frustration will fade away as a distant memory once CSC finishes.

Where did you see 23 days? That is even fast for Vermont! Processing times for California, according to the website I use, are 70-90. But hey, since you are alternate driver one AND you have law enforcement experience, we can hit Calif first. Need to go there for Sarah anyways.

awww VSC is always so fast and its difficult to watch when you are out of CSC, but here is the good news. Casa is not as busy as so many other consulates (e.g Philippines, UK, Montreal) and once the NOA2 comes you will speed up like you won;t believe. I remember Sarah telling me this while I was waiting for the NOA2 and I never really believed her until it happened. Some of my filing buddies and several people caught up by IMBRA last year are still waiting for an interview date. I promise you you will be together before you know it and this will all fade as a sweet memory.
