Hello all and Happy new Year!...I've been away...so just wondering if some have any news about Vt center...their timiline seems stuck since months on the same date, march 12 i think...What is to believe...for now we feel that that date is a sort of "mummyfication" or something in that perspective.... huh.gif

They're sure cranking out K1 approvals fast enough. Why K1s seem to get approved so much quicker than K3s and CR-1/IR-1 is beyond me. Okay, I understand about CR-1/IR-1 since it's an immigrant visa but why such a time discrepancy between K1s and K3s (after it is received from NBC)? Can someone shed some light on that?

Good question, i really don't know, only can imagine something like the fact that the K-1 is a brand new relationship...not yet sealed by the marriage and has still to be proven...somewhere i might see it like a sort of visitor visa ...Once there is marriage (k-3 and Cr-1) then, it's serious because the immigration thing it's at stake so all the checks have to be done...Actually i noticed that K-3 and Cr-1 arrive almost in the same time for those who take both routes...in another thread a member said his I-130 has been stopped once they knew he has filed for K-3 also...Actually, this thread is about Vt, but i don't know if they proceed that way all over...Let's hope all will be well in the end!

I can see that sort of especially with CR/IRs but in the end, the only difference with the K3 and the K1 is that the K3 is a multiple entry visa (it's still non-immigrant). We still have to adjust status (K1s adjust status after marriage) after entry and prove that the marriage is bona fide if need be.

Hopefully us K3s and CR/IRs get some good news soon. You've been waiting quite a while for an I-130 approval. sad.gif

Yes, we are around 120 days..i stoped counting...soon we'll rent a tomb in Egypt and hire embalmers hahaha...Seriously...i try to understand, is it long because our case or because they being too busy...their timline indicates they are only at 12 of march..and that's since months ago..Hopfully they'll deblock soon...something might have happen at Vt...i don't know if this happened in the past...didn't have time to research...Overall, all this is ok...it just gives me time to prepare more and improve my english...

Again, as I said, they are late, on the 12th of march...in California they are on the 15th of June...frustraing...i have read..that since sept they are sending from Vt to Cali thousands...because they are overloaded...and some have been accepted in 5 months, we are not there yet...patience, patience...all I can say..
