Sorry i havent posted since i got into the states,its been a rollercoaster month for me and my wife.

Dec 8 had interview at the london embassy
Dec 11 visa delivered
Dec 17th left the UK for Columbus Ohio via JFK
Dec 20th flew to Houston for a job interview and was given an offer on the spot
Dec 29th SSN arrives in the post
Jan 4th Green card arrives in the post.

I am just sitting down arranging my clothes preparing to fly out tomorrow
morning to start work in Houston doing what i have always wanted to do.
Its be an unbelievable month and i hope this gives some people here the hope
cos the journey is not easy,the emotions involved are unbelievable,few highs
and loads od lows but at the end of the day believe me its worth every pain
and suffering that you go through just to be with the person you love.
