Hola Gringa. Its nice to hear that a Gringa can actually cook something doesn't require a microwave or a box!!!! Well, I'm wondering if what she made was sudado? Can you describe the dish a little more? Sudado usually involves potatoes, carrots, yuca, chicken, and its kind of saucy but its no soup, and mine is more yellow than brown? Let me know and I'll try to help. Maybe you can send me your recipie for ajiaco, I'm from Medellin and we don't eat ajaico there, but I love it.
