How soon do they book your medical appointments. I mean do they get you in within a week? Are they backlogged?
Minfay
They usually book you within two weeks of your interview date -- I don't think anyone has gotten one any sooner.....some of them have been "cut" very close......and for some, the medical report was not at the Embassy in time for the interview. With those, they got approval "pending" receipt of the records.

As soon as he gets the date call and make an appointment. Have it at least 10 days before the interview so that the Embassy will have all the information and there will not be delays.

We called the same day we found out our date, and the medical was scheduled exactly a week before interview date. We even called and pleaded to get an appointment pushed back to two weeks before but the docs office would not budge. So it all depends. As far as backlogs, again that depends on not just immigration cases, but locals needing treatment as well.

I know for K-1 visa they sent the medical information in Packet 3. You should do a forum search for medical appointments in jamaica as I know somewhere there is a list of accepted doctors. (it's only 3 of them)

Look on the Kingston website for the doctor's info, however, you will need to call and make the appt yourself. Allow at least 14+ between the medical and interview date. That should give it enough time to reach the embassy.
