Sorry to keep you all in suspense! There was no wireless internet at the hotel where we were staying. I received the visa yesterday and activated it this morning! Everything is such a blur because so much has happened in the past two days, with about 4 hours of sleep each night for the both of us (we left our hotel at 3am this morning for our 6:30 flight, we were the first in line for customs and immigration when it opened!) and we just got home about an hour ago. I am absolutely dead-on-my-feet tired, and unfortunately Geoffrey had to rush right to work and is there till 10 pm (poor guy!), but aside from the rude immigration official who activated my visa, the experience was pleasant and easy. The interview was definitely not worth all the stress Geoffrey and I put ourselves through over it. I'd like to share the whole experience once I'm rested because it seems like I am the first here to have had my medical and interview on the same day (still got the visa same-day!). Thank you so, so, SO much to everyone who wished me luck, and I wish the best of luck and patience to everyone still waiting! I am completely overjoyed to be home with my sweetheart at last (and just in time for a most incredible snowstorm in eastern Washington)! Now I think I am going to curl up to watch the storm unfurl, get some rest, and wait for Geoffrey to come home ...
