Hi guys - It's been past 60 days not since I received the NOA1 from the CSC. No touches yet....does that generally mean a good thing or bad thing?

Do people generally receive RFE's by now if something additional needs to be sent? I just want to avoid any unnecessary delays.

I dont believe you can do anything but wait at this point. I got my first RFE ( and fortunately only RFE ) after 60 days. For some reason some people have had extraordinary bad luck for no apparent reason getting to NOA2, while others have gone through within a few weeks. Your timelines seems the norm for VN bound K-1 !

I received no touches besides the initial ones when they received my petition for 73 days, then I received 2 touches and an approval. The touches did not indicate an any change, but I received my NOA2 in the mail a week later.

Mine got touched a lot, randomly, from the first week to the 12th. I signed up on the USCIS website for the ability to log in and see the progress on my petition. It's really weird the differences in experiences that people have.

I just wish you will have your notice soon!
Good luck!

Ours was not touched at all until we got NOA2 on Dec 26, 2006. Still no touches after that when I received letter from NVC in snail mail today, dated Jan 5, 2007 that it had been received and would be sent to embassy within one week.

Good Luck, dean

Thanks everyone who replied. It seems the longer you wait, the more paranoid you get that something is going to go wrong!! devil.gif
