Are there any local stores that carry authentic French food?
And has anyone found a REAL baguette?
Jenn!
I used to live near Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge. They have a lot of specialty foods and imported goods. I was never looking for French products specifically, but you might want to check it out.

Nevermind - I just googlemapped it - I know exactly where it is. There's also one in the South End. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, not too far. A bit of a hike from the T, but it'll be worth it! biggrin.gif

I go to Formaggio everyday for lunch. They have great cheese selections.
There is one in South End as well. On Shawmut Ave. If you are looking for a French restaurant, good one is Clio or Sel de la terra. Clio is very high end, so you wnat to go there for special occasions. Sel de la terra is very good, but not as expensive as Clio.
Yeah....it's kind of hard to find good food in Boston...
