Happy New Year 2007 VJ's

I have a question. The entire package for interview has many notarized documents. I will 'bind' these into a notebook for ease of reference. Ideally I would like to hand carry this package to my fiance. The alternate is ?? the mail ( while I have high confidence with the US mail system ), the Packet 3 experience with our case and others give me no confidence with the VN postal service. If I lost these documents it could take me a month ( and probably an additional 100 $ ) under the best of circumstances to get them re-issued.

The consulate uses DHL and I am sure there are other expeditors to VN. Any comment ? Any experience ? If she could pick it up at some secure location that would be ideal.

Thanks. Andrew

I've used both DHL and FedEx and they are both extremly reliable. They can hand deliver or your fiance can pick it up at their main offices close to Tan Son Nhat Airport. If you do not mind spending some money, both DHL and FedEx can get your package 3 to Vietnam in less than 4 days. Whatever you do, stay away from US Postal Service. I once used their Gobal Priority service to send Loan a few things before I went to Vietnam and the package came after I had gone to Vietnam and came back to the US months later.

Thank you very much, this is exactly what I needed to know.
