Hi everyone, well the day has almost come, It has been over a year since I have seen my SO and he is finally coming home. He is scheduled to leave Korea on 1/6/07. He is coming into Los Angeles and I was wondering if anyone had any experiences from that POE and also does anyone know which form he has to fill out on the plane. He is getting a little nervous about it and just wants to make sure he knows what to do. Is the brown envelope the only thing he needs to carry through the POE along with his passport? He does not need to take any medical information does he? Anyone who could help me with these questions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Stacey! Congratulations on the big day I'm so happy for you guys.

Hicham's POE was not LAX but he filled out a form on the plane which turned out to be the wrong one so he had to fill out the correct one I-94 while he was going through customs. I believe he had his passport and the brown envelope and that was it!

Congratulations again and good luck!

My husband and I POE'd though LAX and it was a piece of cake!! They were VERY nice, just make sure that you dont open that brown envelope and have the passport and you should be good to go!! You wait in the USC line as an incoming resident.

I dont remember which form he filled out on the plane, sorry!! If he asks any of the flight attendants they should be more than happy to help him out! They have to be up on stuff like that...

Good luck!!!
