Has anybody ever had any luck changing the time of a biometrics appointment by using infopass to make an appointment and getting it done then, or just showing up later than the appointed time and getting the biometrics done?

Problem we have is the biometrics appointment is 8 am and we live about 2 hours away. Its a whole lot easier to show up at 10 am and miss the morning rush.
