Hello and Merry Christmas to all the Visajourney members and visitors. Special to greetings to all the K1 petitioners, like myself, who are so far away from their loved ones today.

My question today is about my fiancee changing her phone number. My concern is that the cell number she has now is what is listed in the I129F and all other documents that require her number. Has anyone heard of the Embassy calling individuals for any occasions? I would think all contact is done through email or snail mail. Especially concerning her packet 3 after we get NOA2, and scheduling her interview.

I know I can change the number through Customer Service, but my fear is that this may cause some delay or confusion.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

The consulate may try calling her to confirm mailing address when sending packet 3.

Wait until NVC sends the petition to Thailand, then email them the changed phone number and reference the case number assigned by NVC .
