Has anyone went thru the medical in Mumbai. What exactly do they check and do females get a female doctor? My fiancee is concerned about this.

My wife just had her medical examination done last week. We called Breach Candy Hospital to get an appointment for medical examination and luckily got the 1st one for 7.30am. She was in there for good 3-4hours as there were quite a few patients during that time. I didn't get into details of what exactly was done to her but I'll have detailed info for u today when i talk to her and will post it here. Please follow the link above and it has pretty much everything (including medical info) that you need to know regarding K-3 visa and Mumbai Embassy! Hope this helps.

We have not received packet 4 yet. But I emailed the embassy yesterday asking if they received packet 3 and to please email once packet 4 is sent. We never received packet 3 the first time they mailed it. I got a reply this morning saying they received packet 3 and our interview would be scheduled in 8-12 weeks. That may be a standard reply, as i read from another member they got a silmilar reply and ended up with an interview in about 30 days. Or at least i hope it is sooner! Thanks for the info. You re absolutely right. thats just their copy and paste standard way of greeting us Once they received pac3 response from my beneficiary, we got packet4 within just two weeks! As long as you keep emailing them to check status on your case, you will get something sooner than expected! Communication is the key!
