Just out of boredom and curiousity does everyone like their SO's smell... since smell is one of our senses...and can be a great aprodisiac and can enchance or decrease attraction.... what are your thoughts...

My husband has a natural scent that attracts me (always has that effect on me)...nothing to do with perfumes or colognes...although when he wears his Axe cologne OMG....

I have chemical sensitivities; cologne/perfume is a big no-no. People who dowse themselves with either annoy me to no end. 1) I can't breathe (my throat closes up) 2) What are they trying to cover up?

I think for mine covering nothing, as he loves to shower also, he just really enjoys, and the room sprays also

I enjoy his freshly-washed, shampoo'd smell

but I'm not crazy about cologne, esp. if it's applied too liberally.

I never liked cologne before I met Rey. He wore it the first few months I knew him. It's nice to smell cologne that sort of only for me to smell. You know, I wouldn't mind if someone brought back a little cologne (hint, hint)

Agreed that too much cologne is nasty. Your smell should not announce you before you go into a room, be it cologne or BO.

I just love the way Gary smell, his natural scent makes me to snuggled to him more!
Everytime he come over to visit me ,I made him to leave his shirt that he use the whole day(on his last day here ),that serves as my comfort blanket in my bedtime!sometimes I just hold on it when I miss/longing for him.
Gary has his own pheromone scent that a big turn on to me.lol..

Honestly that was one of the things I had to check out when we first met. If I didn't like her smell that would probably have been a "deal breaker." If I didn't care for the way she smelled I couldn't possibly spend the rest of my life smelling her. Neither of us really likes perfume or other artificial scents. I guess it doesn't hurt that she usually showers 3 times a day.

Cool topic. I am a BIG believer in natural scents. I have been out with men who I was not at all attracted to and no matter what cologne their sported I could smell their natural scent! And let me just say if I am not attracted to a man then he smells not nice to me if he gets CLOSE. As for my SO, the first time I met him in person I did NOT "like" his natural scent because he smelled like underarm as do many people from his country. Whatever. We discussed my expectations of hygiene and he got it. He still don't wear cologne but bathed and with antiperspirant he smelled wonderful. Who actually likes anybody's natural underarm or sweat smell except babies?

On my First visit to Veronica it was hot an humid alittle.. and She had alittle underarm oder .. Which kind of took me back for a min.. but as we rode that 30 miles to her town.. I began to like it..Her natural scent.. So I liked it.. But I never experienced it with her after that day...or on my second visit..I think it was a case of the nerves..hot weather..that effected her.. plus I think she watches what I do...So she probably noticed my underarm anti-prepersate(sp?) in the bath...Well anyway... ..Any scent she has...excites me

...Love has no bound's

On my first visit to Morocco i was to arrive early in the morning so Ahmed had traveled to Casa to wait for me late the nite before. Unfortunately due to planes running late etc i wasnt able to catch the flight to get me there until the next day same time. Here he was waiting, hot, no clothes to change into for one extra day. When i did arrive he seemed so concerned apoligizing for having no other shirt,(which was white) and truthfully that thought never entered my mind

I don't know what Paris Hilton smells like, but I'm thinking it's a combination of the following: plastic, hair, hair products, ###, cocaine, Being Talentless (if that has a smell), male genitalia, and Being Talentless.
I kid, of course, but really -- Paris Hilton probably DOES reek of all those things. I've never smelled her perfume though

I'm sorry but I read this poll, some of the responses and....WTF???
The smell of your SO, underarm odor, BO??? I mean if it was a discussion about favorite perfume/cologne OK, but what your loved one smells like and if you like it or not? I just don't get how that factors in 'the equation' so to speak, or why it merits consideration at all.

I love the way my fiance smells - natural woodsy smell with fabric softner, hehe. Though I'm allergic to that and really strong perfumes, so that may have to go pretty soon.
Bee says that I smell like lemons, which is strange since I don't wear perfume and my shampoo and soap don't have any citrus in them. But who am I to argue?
