Hi, my wife, a Canadian citizen, and I (US Citizen) are going to visit her family in Ontario. Are there US immigration people at the border who will process Advance Parole documents? I have no clue how this all works driving across the border into Ontario...anyone with experience in this?
Thanks!

You enter Canada normally, You show ID, and She shows passport to Canadian customs officer.
On return to the USA you show your ID, she shows her passport, and AP document to the American Customs officer to re-enter the USA.
Also have a copy of your marriage certificate handy just in case they want to confirm name change from the one in her passport, and the name on AP document.
Nothing complicated about it.

If you're using the Peace Bridge, it's supposed to have more knowledgeable officers, since it's a commercial crossing. The Rainbow Bridge (Niagara) could hold you up.

Thanks! I was thinking that we had to do show stuff to a US official on the way OUT also. I'm just nervous, here :-). We're going to go use the Peace Bridge since we've used that before when I would fly into Buffalo.
