woohoo...i got an email today from NVC and they said the my DS-230 has been generated and sent last dec. 18'06 to my agent(my hubby).

Does anyone knows how long i can get that?

as you all know our petition is on its 363 days since filed..so i am pretty much excited with the updates and having my medical exam soon and the interview as well....

For my case ..we waiting about 20 days after the NVC told us that they sent.

our DS-230 took 9 days from date of generation to be received in the mail. that's from new hampshire to california. i would suggest preparing your end of the documentation since it takes some time before you can get some of the documents (NBI clearance, police clearance, etc). my wife had to use monetary encouragement to help speed up some of the process "iba talaga ang mga pilipino"

I just called NVC today and inquired the same thing wanting to know what was in the DS-230 exactly for the Phil's.
I spoke with a Christine, and she said not to worry, and that they usually arrive between 17 and 21 days, and she said that is the average in general short of not finding an address , weather,or difficulty in mailing due to holidays and unusual events as she put it. I got home afterward and mine was there waiting for me.
today was day 17, mailed on the 4th. Hope that helps.
