Folks who have submitted recently. Was there a problem with combining the I-751 fee and the biometric fee on a single check?? I have to submit in a week and was wondering. Thanks.

Marilyn and Peter.

There is no biometrics fee for the I-751 (Removal of Conditions). Just the fee which is $205.00 (or it was in September).

This must have changed with the new fee as it now states on the USCIS website,

$275.00
Special Instructions :
A $70 biometrics fee is also required.

Lucky me!

Well, I got two sets of pictures first (the guy could only shoot 2 pics per $15.00, so I paid $30) and then I went to CVS again cause I wasn't happy with the first ones. Total =15+15+8 = 38 bucks for nothing and I still look ugly in all of them.

Thank you for the clarification. When you look at the form instructions, it clearly states the total cost as $275.00 while looking at the main list, where all the forms are listed, the comment states;

$275.00
Special Instructions:
A $70 biometrics fee is also required.

It makes you believe that $275.00 plus $70.00 biometric fee is required.

On a side note, I thought the reason to now do computer based biometrics was so that we wouldn't have to do over again every time we file a new form. We paid the $70.00 fee and had electronic biometrics taken for AOS. Now we have to do it all over again and pay for the privilege. Now that's progress!

when you go for your biometrics for lifting conditions dont they take another photo ...cos i know they used the bio photo for my greencard and was so cheesed cos all the ones i sent in with the AOS application were much better ...

well according to the new forms.... you don't need to send in any photos with the application... they will take the pictures at the biometrics appointment...
