The fee for I-751 has been recently changed. It is $275 now.

This really sucks, especially when you ALSO have to add $70.00 biometric fee. That $345.00.

so the fee didn't really go up.... they just combined the two.....

yeah, it says that the USCIS will take the photos now...

I didn't pay a biometric fee - just the $205. Things seem to be going fine though, my wife had the biometrics and no one had their hand out asking for more money. This was just this month.

The page about the I-751 seems to be broken, *but* I can tell that there is a different form since we filed. Even though the form is dated 8/1/06, it must have just come into effect in the last month or so, because it has only been six weeks since we filed the I-751 and it was a different form (and only $205) then.

Usually when there is a fee change, you only pay the new fee if you file after it comes into effect. So if you filed before they raised the fee, then you don't have to pay the new fee.

Anybody knows when the new version of I-751 came effect? When they made this change? I filed mine early Dec. I used the old version with fee $ 205.

What should I do?...Help...
