Our NOA2 date is November 1st. I received a letter from NVC dated Nov. 20th saying that our petition would be sent to the Montreal embassy within 7 days. My fiance still hasn't gotten packet 3 in the mail. Isn't it about time we got that?? Anybody know the best way to contact the embassy?? email address or phone number?? I might just be a little too antsy but I'd like to stay on top of things....i'm sick of waiting. So if anyone could let me know how to find out what's going on that would be great. Thanks.

I second that!!! Waiting way too long for my liking. Our NOA2 was Nov 7 and I am still waiting for packet 3 too but it toolk us a month to get through NVC though. Hang in there, I know how you feel.

At Colombia Club thread we are not waiting around for packet 3 to arrive.Colombia's postal service stinks! Some have waited months in vain. Get proactive. Dont just sit there and wait. Read whatever post you can find from PeterMiami and let me know if it was helpful.

It took us a month to get Package 3 and 5 months after that to get an interview! They were very polite when I called, a small consolation for them taking so long!

Tel : 514-398-9695 Press 4 (between 2:00 & 4:30 eastern time). The old option of pressing 6 Ext #3833 is apparently no longer valid.

You also don't have to wait for package 3 to get your police check done (it can take a while IF you have a criminal background and need fingerprinting) and to order your birth certificate (long form).

I'm in the same sinking boat as you. My NVC letter was also dated November 20th, and my fiancé and I are also still waiting for him to receive Packet 3.
