Well, as you can see we were approved on 11/29. I sent NVC an e-mail last week and they had no record of our case. So, I sent another e-mail on Monday (a week later) and they e-mailed me today saying my case has been sent to Rio!!!

My case number is RDJ2006XXXXXX

This is super exciting!! The e-mail said that it could take 10-15 business days to get there but I know that I can call/e-mail them. We probably won't be able to send our packet 3 to Rio before Christmas - which is only 6 business days away - but Merry Christmas to us!

If anyone else was approved around the same time as us maybe sending them an e-mail would help you. Calling sure didn't for us...

It usually takes 5 working days for the papers to get down here. There might be another little gift under your tree this Christmas.

I got my N0A2 on 27 November and I gave it two weeks to get to the NVC. I called them but they didn't have it. They said to call back in 15 days. A couple of days later I sent them an email. 5 days after that I got an email back from them saying they didn't have it and that I should check with USCIS. The misinformation line said they didn't have a clue. I called NVC again last night and I was told again that they didn't have my petition yet. They said to wait another 10 days and call them again. Some who got approved the same time as I did and others who were approved after me, have already had their petitions confirmed at NVC and others have already cleared the NVC and are on their way to the consulate. I'm still waiting and wondering where the heck is my package? Why would CSC send some who were approved the same day or after me and not send mine??? Hmm...

I don't know Jasal, I'm sorry.
Try sending an e-mail. I've had no luck with NVC via the phone and it is frustrating.

Sorry to post so much but I just called NVC (at 11:57 p.m.) and spoke to a guy who was not the sharpest knife in the drawer. But anyway he confirmed that our petition was received by them on 12/11 and then sent off to Rio on 12/13. That sure was fast.
So it took 12 days for NVC to receive my package from CSC. Hope this helps.
