NVC become sooooooooo slow this month.......in OCT , NOV they were completing the review in about 10-14 days.........and now it seems they are not even getting the cases forwarded from the service centers.......... forgot about the completion of the reviews...........

I have seen the posts about people saying that their petitions havent reached NVC yet, I'm just not sure why your asking or maybe I am confused about the question. Looking at your timeline it says your cae was completed on the 12th. Thats 20 days, just under 3 weeks for them to review and complete your case. Looking at some of the other posters, they have waited at or around 1 month, and some even longer. I would say that your case was completed faster than some of the ones I seen from Oct. and Nov. Thats a bit suprising as the holidays are coming, I would have thought this would be the time for them to slow down a little. I hope its a trend and I can follow suit. NVC recieved my final documents about 1 week after yours, with any luck I can be completed soon as well.

As far as the service centers being slow at sending petitions to the NVC, who knows their excuse. I'm not an expert or as knowledgable as some of the more seasoned posters, but in the past there have been delays like this. Long waits to get the petitions to NVC and then the flood breaks open and they pour in at NVC. It may have something to do with the changes that have been or are being made. It was like that when IMBRA first started. Lots of delays and recalled petitions and then WOOOSH. All we can really do is wait and pray for each other, especially those that seem to be stuck in limbo waiting to have theirs forwarded and/or on AR.

I am also waiting and hoping for the completion of my case soon. NVC entered the check list order response on Nov. 28 is all I hear anytime I call. I even wake up late at night to see if they updated the system. I hope it happens before christmas.

I also observe that most cases in oct. and nov. had about 2 wks to completion. I guess we have to wait...

No worries Riz, just gave me a flicker of hope there! LOL I understand how you feel though. Just keep praying and calling. Good luck.

It's been a month since our I-130 was approved and according to the NVC they are yet to receive it

I received my NOA2 (for the I-129F petition) 15 days ago and have heard nothing from NVC. I sent an e-mail last week and there was no record of my petition. I sent another one a few days ago and I'm waiting for an answer.
I want to know where my application is....
That'd be nice.

I just found out my case flew through there - in and out in 2 days.

hi everybody............have a great weekend folks......this week also nothing heard frm NVC ........so our goodnews will be before the Christmas........all the previous VJers according to the I-130 timeline have got their case complete........So just praying.....and believing that LORD will give The good news next week and also the case will be forwarded to Mumbai in the shortest posssible time........I does want to say that in the K-1 process, people from all over the world migrate .......but their process is being in done in lightening speed compared to I-130......but the married couples who honestly declare that we are married and want to be together have to wait for such a longer time.....and the people who may have just seen once for a few hrs or days are being united in record time .......SORRY folks i dont have anything against K-1 visa guys......but just the difference in time periods in processing in fiance visa and spouse visa annoys me ........we have not seen each other since aug 4 th ya daily we chat mail and see thr webcam..............men and women who just casually met and have proof of that are being united much earlier.........i am thinking now to advice other people that they should not declare that they are married instead just do the marriage ceremony once again in USA after moving in using the K-1 route.

Riz, I know it can be frustrating at times to say the least. I also understand where your coming from as far as the K-1 vs. CR1 timeframes are concerned, just try to be patient and have faith that we will get thru this. I agree we shouldnt be kept apart from our spouses any longer and that the processing shouldnt be as long as it is while other visas are a faster route. But this is the route we chose and we will just have to wait it out. At the end of the day, we made our choice and now we have to accept it, and with help and support from each other on here we will manage to get thru this. Lets pray for each other and hope for the best. Hope you hear some good news and soon! Good luck and GOD bless.

Riz, I am soooooo happy for you! Congrats! Hopefully you wont have too long of a wait before your interview! Have you checked your embassy timeline to get a guestimate of the wait? Congrats again!
