My I 130 was finally approved on 6 December 2006, it had a receipt date of 13 September 2006. We are both very happy and relieved, although painfully aware that this is just the first step.

Does anybody know approximately how long it takes for the approved I-130 to go from the CIS to NVC?

I've been looking around since I've been approved, and it looks like the average is about 2 weeks... although some unlucky people wait months. Let's hope it's fast
