I totally wish I did!

But as long as I eventually get my fiance here, I'll do whatever I have to do - including wait a few more months.

I did before my approval... But everything is for a reason smile.gif ...Even with a early approval for me it wouldn't of been good.. in fact even now if I follow the timelines..I will be having alittle trouble.. Because I need to have 2006 taxes filed before her interview.. and that's going to be hard since most employers won't send out the W2's until Jan 31.. (I was a student last year no income) .. So if I follow the timeline for Romania she could have her interview mid Jan or even sooner.. So we are going to have to hold off sending back Packet 3 for a couple of weeks.. So that as soon as I get my W2's I run down to H&R Block and file my taxes and over night the Packet full of required interview stuff to her...

Everything has a reason... smile.gif But yes I did wish I could've filed in Vermont..before I figured this tax timeline out..

well, I want to say something different. Since I joint VJ I have seen so many approvals from other centers but VSC remains silence. I was wishing I did not live in VSC territory.

I'm from New York and moved to Florida a year before we sent out our application. innocent.gif
I like to believe that things happen for a reason too - like someone said above.

We were approved relatively quickly through CSC so I can't complain much.
NVC seems to be taking awhile though...

Husband lives all the way down in Puerto Rico and we still went through Vermont, as it's our jurisdiction. wink.gif It still took us over 3 months to get approved.

CSC is fast for AOS but for I-129f.

But now that I'm through that part, I don't really care what service center I went through. It's all ancient history! smile.gif

Just be patient. Your day will come. Good luck.

I live up north - north of Canada even - and still I had to go through California.

Oh well, some day the NOA2 will come...

I wished i lived within the boundaries of Vermont. They are a lot quicker.

Yeah iam with you fellows.. man to see some of those people that get approved in less than a week.....i just dont understand it..but i have come to realize that nothething is fair, especialy when all i want is to have a sign that i can have permision to get on with my life and marry the one I love. If I were the president I would stop the sending of K1 visas to these "service" centers and say let the individual state USCIS offices get things done, but still even living in Kansas whose entire population is less than half of that of the city of New York's population iam sure I wouldnt get approved as fast as some. The unkown is the hardest to deal and reason with, ecpecialy when those slots begin to fill in all around you. Keep your chin up my peeps and think of this summer and how wonderful its going to be with your wife/husband and the sunshine, when the lonelyness goes away, and for me never having to fit my day's loving words into those 10 min phone conversations because of the belarusian monoploy. paz a todo

Vermont's been pretty slow lately from what I've seen, which is disappointing since it used to be the fastest service centre. Going back through people's timelines, I've seen some K1s (yeah, I know I'm filing for a K3) get approved in as little as 9 days before out of Vermont. K3s, I'm not sure how fast I've seen it but they seem slower to get approved. CRs, even slower!

Very discouraging...

You guys, remember that living within the realms of the VSC means you have to live in (essentailly) New England - and we have to have something nice to make up for the lousy winters!!

You'll all get there, and hold onto the end result.

Hah, I was just about to type the same thing! Plus, not everything is fast through VSC. The removal of conditions is much slower than other service centers. You take the good with the bad...

I'm sure no one would want to swap for a VT winter....
EBONY_SEAN
i agree with you christiana, id rather be going thru texas than to be living in new england where its sooooo cold just to go thru vsc.
