Hopefully a veteran can answer this question and suggest why this is the case...

I recieved a packet from Abu Dhabi embassy with cover letter to my fiance and all the forms needed for her interview and fiance visa application.

In the packet were the following forms:

For fiance:

DS-2310 (only form not available on visajourney, anyone know where to find it in pdf?)
DS-156
DS-156K
DS-157

For me:

I-134

All of the forms are available here on visajourney in fillable PDF format, and apparently more up to date than the forms sent directly from the embassy... wacko.gif

For example, the embassy sent DS-156 which expired in 2004, while the visajourney DS-156 does not expire until 2007...

Is it acceptable to use the forms here on visajourney? They are more up to date anyway, and also fillable so that they can be printed neatly typed... I for one don't feel too comfortable with her hand filling in a form that is expired anyway...

Thanks!

B

All embassies and consulates will accept the forms provided on the Department of state website. The DS-156 that is online at the Dept of State is the preferred one to use, it generates a special bar code containing the data entered and can be scanned at the embassy reducing the potential data entry mistakes.

Newest fillable I-134 can be found here:
