I tried to send this question earlier to-day appears it didn't take

Although my medical is a long way off . I was wondering does
USCIS have designated places for diffferent regions of Canada where
one goes for that medical
I'm located in Nova Scotia would the medical be here in my home Province
or would I be required to travel elswhere

One can only got approved DR's, the list comes in one of the pkgs and can be found on VJ as well. If your in NS,the above is approved DR, but if your visiitng another province, you can goto one of the approved DR's from there as well. I had mine done with Dr Doane. Was quite painless. he does the physical in his office, which is right by Wendy's and Canadian Tire. The Xrays and bloodwork are completed a bit down the road.

Allie - I saw Dr. Doane in November for K-1. He's in a great location - lots of parking. Have your immunization records, your health card (for the hospital - blood work & x-rays). I am from PEI, so I had my results couriered to me, but it was relatively easy and quick to recieve tests back. Be forewarned it's a full medical with breast exam etc. and he does a pretty thorough job asking about full medical history including mental health questions. He's nice and made me laugh a few times. I think it cost around $250.00 for the blood work, x-ray and physical. Good luck!

Dr Dioans has to be paid in cash, but payment for the xrays I belive can be paid by debit or mastercard. I too got the results couried to me. One can cal lthe Dr's office after andf they can give you the tracking #. Mine got "misplaced" by the courier company for a day or two!! think there was an extra $25 fee to courier them. I didnt have my letter with me and they didnt ask for it, but if u have it, always best to take it!!
