I am just wondering if anyone has been experiencing delays recently with receiving Canadian Employment Income from the government?

Are you talking about getting your first check or delays recently in recieving checks?

It took a good 6-7 weeks from the day that I applied for EI till I got my first check. Mind you with the 3 weeks severence pay from my past employer and I also stated that I was on our honeymoon for a week (which made me ineligible for benefits) so that delayed my claim starting date.

Back when I did get EI, they were nornally on time, but every now and then it took a bit longer to get the cheque.
