I was approved for I-129 on Oct 27 and we are still waiting for the NVC to send over the file to Moscow. They have told me that they are doing Administrative Review and that there is no way to tell how long it will take. I would like to know if the Admin Review is done for everybody, and for those whom already went through this, how long does it usually take?

All cases have to go through security checks and it happens at all stages of your visa processing and they cannot tell you how long it will take. Good luck and hopefully they will be able to forward it to the embassy in a short time.

Please read some of the steps from this link. http://www.usaimmigrationattorney.com/Secu...tiveReview.html

Hi,

I am from Omsk, Russia; and my fiance and I have been awaiting news on the status of our K-1 petition that was placed under admin. review for 9 months now.
We filed the petition in Feb., 2006, and got approved by Vermont in 4 weeks' time; then it was sent to the NVC, which let us know they placed us under admin. review. They assured us it is a routine thing, and it shouldn't take long to complete.....we've been waiting for 9 months now, and...no news so far...we have been calling and writing them regularly, they always say the same thing -- keep waiting, we will notify you when the clearances are completed...

So we are continuing to pray and hope, and try to not lose heart!

What city is you fiancee from? (I am from Omsk, Siberia).

Good luck, and God bless,
Ola
