My husband has finally gotten his visa approved and is told to come pick up his visa on the 18th of December. It has been very long for us, but all is well. He has a visa appointment the last month, and the lady has informed him to come back yesterday to get a colour copy of my whole entire passport and more phone records. She has gave him back all the documents (including photos that she looked at including traditional) and did not even spend much time with him and told him to pick up his visa on the 18th of this month. I will be making enquires to go to Nigeria soon (after xmas time).

My whole case gotten approve Feb of this year, finally gotten issued an appointment for November 16th and he was asked to come back due to more information. I was wondering for CR-1 visas, if there is a 6 month travel period meaning is it mandatory that he travels to the United States before the 6 months? And what date do they issue the visa on the passport? I plan to come to Nigeria real soon so we go back together.

Does anyone here know any good ticket agencies that have very much discounted tickets going to Lagos Nigeria leaving from the Western United States? If so what are some of the good agencies that do NOT charge too much tax?

All is appreciated

Have you tried Martinair? I know if you buy your tickets plenty ahead of time, they are cheaper and if you buy the ticket ahead of time and need to cancel, they will refund your money up until a month before leaving. I have not flown to Nigeria, so I don't really know the prices, but just thought if you have not flown with them you could check it out. 1-800-martinair
