As i've checked with CSC processing timeline on their website... updated as for Dec. 05, 2006 .. they working now at cases that been filed by June 01, 2006. So, i guess they are following the 6 months processing .. but approval depends on their jurisdiction sometimes cases been approved in 2/3/4/5/6 months or sometimes years to wait.

Goodluck!

YES! AOS (permanent resident or greencard application) ...... i used uscis.org website to check updates on my K1/K2 AOS cases. I do log-in my receipt numbers to check the updates and then i clicked a button their if you wanna see the processing timeline of USCIS... and thats how i derived dates they working is case filed June 1, 2006 ( so if you counted cases from june count 6 months and it was Dec now ... and the USCIS website ... clearly post as per Dec. 5, 2006.

The only I485 on that link is for employment based applications. It has nothing to do with those applying as a spouse of a US citizen.

hmm huh.gif you mean the petitioner is a PR? i gess it's a case to case basis upon processing timelines. I tried calling hotline and got chance to talked with Immigration Officer, i've got approved in 4 months for PR for spouse and she said my son K2 PR application is still in pending because regular processing is 6 months.
