It's my weird duty to make sure that petitioners from certain countries know about an accelerated visa process that is available to them.
The Netherlands is one of the places where a US citizen petitioner may marry/be married already and go to Amsterdam to file their petition. This is quite different from the fiance visa in the end result (it's more complete) and the speed--most DCF cases are done in a matter of weeks.
You may already know about Direct Consular Filing and have ruled it out, but if you did not already know, here's some info:

Even though I subscribed to this board 32weeks ago, I never really been on here a lot, simply because I have not much time to do so.

It's just a case of waiting it out and jumping hurdles( and completing forms, sending documents, checking and double checking, photocopying, mailing, signing, swearing......yikes, the list is endless, but soooooooo worth it)!!!!!!!!!!
