I am looking for a hotel in Moscow near the American embassy that is good quality for on night. Any suggestions? prefer a 4 or 5 star place as a surpirse for Fiance after intervew

I like the Metropol or the Marriott Grand.
5 stars in Moscow will be pricey (~$500/night, maybe $250-300 with a good corp. rate)
Golden Ring Hotel is 5 star and is very close to embassy down Novinsky Blvd at Old Arbat Street. About 6 or 7 minute walk from embassy.
I would have stayed there but it was expensive. I did go in and check it out however.

Moscow is even more expensive this time of year... and harder to book hotels or apartments, I know this
