I start training at Verizon on Monday, I'm going to be a "dial 0" Operator. The wage is pretty good for around here, it has guaranteed 50 cents an hour raises every 6 months and they have a great benefits package that will cover hubs as well.

After being on 'vacation' for what seems like forever, I'm looking forward to getting out of the house and doing something. I will miss wearing my jammies and slippers all day though .

I'm in LiveSource, the only way to get into Verizon in my town. I've had my first week of training, it seems to be going okay so my fingers are crossed that I pass my 2 R&D tests next week. I can't wait until I'm 'official' and can start taking advantage of the 100% tuition reimbursements and great benefits!
