Hi everyone. I need to go get some R&R now but I have upgraded the forums and while not yet perfect, most things should work. Let me know things I have missed (I know there are many) so I can fix them. Known issues at this time is that the chatroom is offline, the spell check is not installed yet, some old posts may appear odd, etc.

Oh and if the site looks odd (I would do this anyhow) clear your cached files on your browser (somewhere in settings) then do a "Ctrl-F5" (hard refresh) to reload everything on the site (click Ctrl-F5 on any page). Close the browser and then reopen.

If that does not work, clear the cache using the method in this link:

Then restart your browser.

How can you view each member's photos like you could before? I can't seem to find a link.

go to your profile and scroll down the page and part ways down on the left hand side there is an option to pick if you are a boy or a girl....

So what's with the visitors to your profile thing? I visited my own and it didn't say I visited. Is it only if you leave a comment or something? And then it says maybe 3 visits to my profile(which could have possibly be all from me lol). I've been clicking on profiles to see the differences.

Somebody please click on mine and see if it says you visited.

But it does list visitors even if they didn't comment. But it won't list yourself.

Anyone know what the "rating" stars are for in the profile section?

I didn't see yours yet Marilyn, but Jenn's is showing up(maybe she visited right before or after you?) But Jenn left a comment too. I wonder if the comment makes any difference.

It's confusing though. My profile is only showing two visitors, but it says 11 profile views. Maybe each of them visited several times???

ok, so i figured it out. i had to *cough* open IE to get it to work.

EWOK...on the profiles page, it seems that the drop-downs on the left hand side, as well as the tabs across the top aren't working with Firefox 2.0. when i view my profile in firefox, i'm not seeing any content under the tabs at all.

Ahh firefox must be the issue, that's what I'm using too and having problems.

earlier today it didn't work for me either with Firefox but now it does... i just kept going back every once in awhile and all of a sudden all the features worked....

I am wondering if there is a way on here to add questions to a "watchlist" I find questions I want to keep an eye on, and then they get lost in the shuffle, and are sometimes hard to find again unless they are a hot topic and keep coming up to the top of the list.

That's always been a feature. Just click on the options button in a thread and "track this topic".

Yes, that is there.
At the top right of a thread there is a box of 'Options'. In there, 'Track this topic' will add it to the threads you're watching. If you have selected email notification, you'll get a reminder email when the thread updates.
Or, you can select your subscriptions, view topics from the 'my controls' panel (top right of the page).

'Active Topics' now has a marker in the threads you've already posted to (little black dot). YAY!!!!

That used to be the only drawback of active topics. Now it's just perfect!

It's kind of annoying that if you choose "add reply", you have to scroll down in order to type.

Try deleting your temp files and empying your cache. Close and open browser. Hold F5 and then click refresh.
